These terms describe the service Gold Dust Web provides and what each of us is responsible for. They apply from the day your subscription starts.
We build your site from the answers you give us in the onboarding questionnaire, plus any photos or material you send. If we don't receive your answers, we can't start. Timelines below begin on the day we receive your completed questionnaire.
Your site goes live within 30 days of receiving your completed questionnaire. You'll get a preview link first, and we revise the design until you approve it. Nothing is published without your approval.
Each month includes 30 minutes of content changes — typically two small edits such as hours, photos, prices or promotions. Unused minutes do not carry over. Work beyond that is billed at $75 per hour with no minimum, and we'll always tell you the estimate before starting.
Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. When you check out, your first month and any one-time add-ons you selected are charged immediately, and your card is kept on file with Stripe for the subscription. The subscription then renews automatically each month, in advance, until you cancel. Recurring add-ons (like extra support blocks) are billed as part of the same monthly charge.
If you used a discount code at checkout, the discount applies to your invoices for as long as the code's terms allow and your subscription remains active. Hourly work agreed later is invoiced separately, due on receipt. If a renewal payment fails or an invoice remains unpaid, we'll contact you first, and may pause site updates until it's resolved.
You can cancel at any time — there is no contract term and no cancellation fee. To cancel, email [email protected] and we'll confirm within one business day. Your subscription ends at the close of the current billing month; we don't prorate or refund partial months. Hosting and maintenance stop when the subscription ends.
One-time add-ons (extra pages, logo design) are refundable in full if you cancel before we've started work on them; once work has begun they're non-refundable. If you cancel before your site goes live, we'll refund your first month — the 30-day guarantee works both ways.
You confirm that any material you send us is accurate and that you have the right to use it, including photos, logos and trademarks. You're responsible for the accuracy of your prices, hours, claims and licensing information.
We use professional hosting and monitor availability, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers, domain registries or events outside our control.
Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business.
If we change these terms we'll email you at least 30 days beforehand. If you don't agree with a change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
